Am 27.09.24 wird Naima Bock ihr zweites Album „Below a Massive Dark Land“ weltweit via Sub Pop Records und Memorials of Distinction veröffentlichen. Zusammen mit der Albumankündigung hat Naima das Video zur Lead-Single „Kaley“ (Regie: Cassidy Hansen) und den animierten Visualizer zur Single „Further Away“ (Regie: Gaia Alari) geteilt.
Über die Tracks sagt Naima:
„Kaley was written whilst staying at a friend’s house in Tucson, or at least it was finished there. It’s about betrayal and the subsequent lack of direction that follows. At the time there was no ‘plan’ or ‘way’ that I had for myself, let alone anyone else.“
“‘Further Away’ was written in Greece whilst trying to learn mini Bouzouki and missing someone.”
Der Erfolg von Naimas Debüt „Giant Palm“ führte zu einer Mammuttournee. Mit Headline-Tourneen, darunter das Londoner EarthH und Support-Shows für Künstler wie A. Savage, J Mascis, Squid, Rodrigo Amarante, Arab Strap, Katy J Pearson, This is the Kit und mehr.
